Stallions Youth Hoops (Sept-Nov)

South Langley Basketball Association offers a developmental program that introduces a progression of fundamental basketball skills to Girls and Boys in grades K-3.  Sessions are designed to produce an environment that has kids learn skills (dribbling, shooting, rebounding, passing, team offence and defence), have fun, and be in competitive situations.  Kelsey Stewart, Jyoti Pawar, Daniel Allingham, Alfonso Ocampo, Brian Sawatzky, and Devon Allen will be the head instructors, assisted by members of the junior and senior boys basketball teams.  Coaches Stewart, Pawar, Allingham, Ocampo and Allen are also members of the Brookswood Secondary coaching staff.

Hoops will run every Friday & Sunday from September to December @Brookswood Secondary.

Friday: Competitive Games as well as Practice & Skill Development Session

Grades K-1: 4pm- 4:45pm & Grades 2-3: 5pm-6pm.

Select Sundays: 1 Hour Practice & Skill Development Session

Grades K-1: 10am to 10:45am & Grades 2-3 from 11am-12pm

Please Note: Hoops may not run on holidays or when conflicting with other Brookswood school events.

Cost:  

Gr. k/1: $150 

Gr. 2-7: $200 

South Langley Jerseys $30 (All players must wear a South Langley Reversible Jersey – you can order online (pay cash or cheque/pick up at Brookswood Secondary at the first hoops session or an arranged time beforehand)

Also, please note that due to high popularity of the program we are limiting the # of registrants from each school to allow for equitable access to the program for all of the elementary schools in the Brookswood catchment area.
